Yeah, I’ll admit I worship at the alter of Reznor. The score stuff is just a cherry on top for all the NIN and HDA stuff. Mank wasn’t my favourite but I do like the change of pace from his typical score work.

Pretty much anything by John Barry, he was responsible for all the James Bond soundtracks but to me the Ipcress File was his masterwork, hugely influential on Portishead

I was just going to post that. Some of the songs were a little contrived and gimmicky, but it was a really fun soundtrack.
Pump Up The Volume, The Crow, and The Lost Boys were also regular rotations for me back in the late 80s early 90s.

Smashing Pumpkins was the other non Seattle content in that album
remember vividly buying the CD at HMV...my buddy and I more or less bought it sight unseen, yet at the same time it turns out it was playing over the speakers in the store (the Heart/Lovemongers Zeppelin cover) we asked the clerk 'wow who is that?' and he's like 'ummm you just bought the CD'

I'd add South Park and Team America both had great original songs. With Casino mentioned, reminded me of Goodfellas which was perfect.

The apartment fight where she cranked Father Figure is an all-time favorite of mine.
