Its about shot quality, not quantity that should be looked at. Markstrom is toutinely left out to dry on most of his goals. Breakaways, odd man rushes, deflections. He isnt getting beaten by bad shots very often

First goal was just a great one timer. Not many are stopping that, but the second one is one he should've stopped since he saw.

That's the problem, we're discussing so much if there are shots that he should've or shouldn't have saved, whereas he's being paid to make a lot of tough saves. It's impossible to expect an NHL goalie to only get easy saves; the opposing team are gonna get multiple good looks per game. That's where it's on Markstrom to make the timely big saves to keep his team tied or in front. Not set his team back from the jump constantly because he's not making the big save when they need him to.

I will admit after the first 5 minutes I asked for the team to:

- buy out Markstrom
- Replace Sutter
- start selling

I would like to rescind that request. Or at least put it on hold.
