I’m not sure where the line is between incompetence and being straight up crooked but the refs tonight testing it.

Dude. His passes got to guys in prime scoring positions tonight and they either couldn’t bury them or hit the post. He wasn’t the reason they lost tonight

Once again, our impotent offense drags down an otherwise impressive game.
We should have had 3-4 goals with the great play in the offensive zone tonight, but we're so bad finishing chances.
Knock Mangiapane down to the 4th line and bring Ruzicka up in his place.

5 or 6 posts last 3 games. Flames look like they are doing better and better each game. Sucks that we lost against the oilers but I think there's signs we could be ramping up.

Stupid and selfish penalty from Mang. Zero help from the Refs (how do you miss a stick hold that lasts several seconds?). Great game from Marky but still too many shots from too far out, and the close in ones Skinner could see.
Sigh. No finish from the big guns.

They played better than I thought they would game could have gone either way. Will say the PP shoots muffins and is geriatric slow, if they put one away there this game could turn out different. Markstrom played tens times better and this team didn't lose because of him. Win tommorrow is all I'm thinking about right now.

Amazing game form Huberdeau, the pass to Toffoli was 100% the correct decision, it created a way better chance to score. A guy does not get 85 assists by shooting a puck in those situations, he sets up empty net goals.

Can we trade Huberdeau's elite passing for an elite scorer?

You could not ask more from a goalie than what Markstrom gave tonight. He is not responsible for the loss.
Quit taking dumb penalties...Flames have been bad at that all year long. It has to stop.

Would have loved Phillips and Pelletier out there in the last few minutes with Andersson, Kadri, Huberdeau.

It's rigged in the sense the Oilers are officiated differently...they are and not just this game

I'm not saying it's rigged, but I'm not quite sure how you just don't call some of those blatant plays in the 3rd. It's like the Oilers were daring the refs to make a call.
Flames easily the better team. Skinner was great, with help form the posts. Markstrom was great. Onto tomorrow. Hopefully we see a different officiating crew. Huberdeau slowly looking better and better, made some fantastic passes tonight.

he is a huge edmonton homer, but tonight he seemed even more over the top. I would prefer someone else do the games if that is how he calls it. he was as bad as the refs
