Wednesday night hockey where the Flames and Oilers are the only Canadian teams in action. Flames game starts 90min before the Oilers and both games broadcast nationally. Surprised the Oilers are not getting the 8pm Wednesday puck drop we sometimes see in Calgary.
Vinny01 is correct. It is a different set up with the Alberta teams than what happened just this past Monday. Both teams games started thirty minutes apart. The difference is that the games against the Coyotes are secondary national games.
