Two pretty evenly matched teams. This will be a tough one, and the Flames will need to be much sharper defensively and get back to playing the way they did in the first 3 games.

I'm expecting the Flames to put on a defensive clinic. They're going to play a full 60, and kick some ass.
If they don't well then there's nothing to be upset over, since I can't influence/control the results on the ice. The moment hockey will bring more negativity than positivity into my life, will be the moment I stop watching.

Thinking the team will come out with a better start tonight, and work just as hard as the Canes all night long.
Could be a win, could be a loss - but it’s going to be a good hockey game either way.

This should be a fun game to watch.

And I think it was one of the two games in a row they went into OT and lost on a missed call that led to an odd-man rush.

I think we’ll see a better effort tonight from last game and a more defensive structured game.
I think the Flames will win a close one.
Go Flames!

It was December. I got it mixed it up with the games against Nashville and Dallas when they lost back to back in OT on bad non-calls.
In this game Aho rushed the net, lost control of the puck but it bounced off of Aho and in.

His goals saved above average pretty much supports that too at -.6 ... So he's given up a half goal more than the average goaltender should have through 7 periods of hockey.
Now that's not glowing ... he shouldn't be aiming for average, but it's not a windfall of weak goals going past him.

-0.6 after 7 periods is on pace for -14.1 after 55 games. Last year that would have ranked between Thomas Greiss and John Gibson.
Clearly, it's early, and can be fairly quick to turn around, but that's how Markstrom has played so far.
