Poirier had a really strong period there. His skating and hands are really impressive. Two games in a row he's been able to get himself open in the slot for a clean shot. Just needs to bury.

Schwindt and Pelletier looked pretty shaky that period. Awful giveaway on the PP by Schwindt to Holloway.

Happy to see Beck score one. He has a sense for the open areas and a great shot. I think Kerins had two good looks on the PP but elected to pass. Kerins does pass well too.

Agree that Nikolaev is playing well. Duehr is a powerful presence out there too.

Oilers looked good early but Flames took it over. Hope they keep it going.

I liked that Zary kick arse back on a 2 on 1 he didn't create and helped bail the team out.

I dont know if I like Poirier all that much. He's a lot more skittish than I imagine a high end playmaker d man would be.

This is the time of year when we get to make fun of the kids at the Oilers Hockey School Summer camp.

Hopefully, there was an appearance by Meth Cat to further traumatize the little tykes.

Haha, it looked like the Coiler tried to slewfoot on Solovyov but his legs were too short so he bailed.

Haven't been overly impressed by Kerins so far outside of that one PP from how much he scored in juniors, Beck looks much more dynamic
