It's comical seeing him skating next to Pettersson.

I think Duehr has the makings of a decent 4th liner.

A scoreless period with Dustin Wolf in net? Haha, as if!

I didn't expect Wolf to score.

He deserves a contract, IMO. Flames are thin on D prospects as is and he had an outstanding year in junior.

Wow. For a guy who barely knew a word of English at the start of the season last year, Podkolzin sounds great.

Klapka is 22 and already has a full year in a top-level pro league behind him ... he's been good, but consider the competition from his perspective.
Still, very intriguing.

I was really impressed with Klapka at the summer camp scrimmage. Great to see him look good so far tonight.

Duer, Zary, Klatka and I liked Pouriers skating. Pettersen ahs wicked wheels too. Beck made two blind passes in a row but its 1 period. Lots left.

Stand outs for period 1 for me:
1. Klapka
2. Zary
3. Schwindt
4. Nikolaev
I'm not ranking Wolf because he's a lock for me like Kipper. Cold as ice and unflappable. Can't wait until he has to raise his resting g heart rate to make an extra save. It's going to be magical.
