That is brutal. If you take off the homer glasses you will see the prospect pool of the flames is just not that good. Except for Wolf but time will tell. The media and fans hype these prospects and team all the time and what have they done but win two rounds in the last 8-9 yrs.
LOL. "Homer glasses" because I am curious how you reached your conclusions. Did you compare the Flames prospects to other teams? You're judging them in isolation, with nothing but opinion as your reasoning.

Have at it then.

Agreed, but not for the fanbase, many still have Draft PTSD. Should they, most likely not, but they do.

Just look at the flames lack of playoff success since Tre has been a flames. If they had drafted and developed better over the last 8rs they would've had more success. Other than the obvious Tkachuk pick only Mangiapane has really had much success in the top six. I like Dube but he's not there yet. Right now out of our top 9 only 2 have been drafted by Tre. Other teams like Tampa who have a lot more drafted players in their top six and they have been picking later in rounds so you can't use that excuse. They have done a good job of filling in their roster with draft picks. The flames have done it through trades and FA.Just not enough forwards that have been drafted since 2014 other than Tkachuk have made enough of a impact. I really like Mangiapane but we still don't know how good he will be. Last year was one year and even with 35 goals he still only had 20 assists.Lets just hope it was not just a streaky season with a higher shooting percentage.

Not sure what you are on about, 2014 was the only draft that the Flames messed up in the last 8 years.

In the last 8 years, the NHLers (min 100 games) that Tampa have drafted are: Cirelli, Foote, Howden, Colton and Foote (91)

Meanwhile, in that same time, the Flames have drafted: Tkachuk, Dube, Fox, Andersson, Kylington and Mangiapane

No comparison as to who has drafted more quality players
