If that’s the case, Zadorov will ask for a trade by the new year.

That would have been priceless.
We know it would be Lucic, Lewis and Tanev out there doing the dirty work because they’d work hard and he’d trust it would be done right. Plus rookies never get a chance under Sutter

3rd segment of in my own words. This one is a favorite of mine. Darryl gets a little misty. Man he's a great man.

I bought a blank Home jersey 2 years ago and it's honestly crossed my mind to get Sutter on the back.

Darryl Sutter is a special, special man.

Anyone who has even an ounce of dislike towards that man (there were MANY when he was brought back) is on something.

The Flames are so incredibly fortunate to have him not just behind the bench, but to represent them off the ice.

I had never thought about it till now, but after seeing BlindMilwaukee's post above, I am also now seriously considering getting "Sutter" on the back of my next Flames jersey.

Probably one of the best video segments Flames TV has ever done.

Love the pictures on his hockey wall. Of the more recent players, I see a picture of Iggy and Chris, a picture of Kipper, and a Getz 1000 games poster.

Getzlaf always seemed like the ultimate Sutter player, what could have been if Sutter had drafted him over Phaneuf in 03...

As grounded as they come!

Imagine if he can help this team win a Stanley Cup in Calgary this season!

Would be the best thing!

Kind of cool near the end when he points out the picture of the old Blackhawks and all the successful guys in coaching and management right now. As a guy older than Sutter I didn't realize they all played together way back when.

That video just shows so much more of who Darryl Sutter is....who the Sutters are and how much they mean to Alberta.

I love how Darryl talks about us as fans and how important and valuable we are to him. I've never met the man personally but I'd think any interactions anyone would have with him would be meaningful and memorable.

I truly truly hope Darryl achieves his goal since coming back. I was almost done with this team and thr direction we were headed after the whole embarrassing Bill Peters thing amongst other things but......Darryl does have something which I cannot describe but you just know and feel like something special is happening .

It's weird as a fan to cheer blindly for a team because you like the jersey or have some other connection which is just a tiny part of it.

Then you have a guy like Darryl who comes in and if you watch peripherally you see how much attention people pay to whats being said . He's just so sharp and sees things I'd have never thought of and that is why I love the most about his being here.

Every nanosecond that man is behind the bench you learn something....can you tell I have a man crush? Likely not alone either.

Boudreau was only with the Hawks for 7 games in 1985-86. Looking at that season's roster for Chicago...
  1. Marc Bergevin
  2. Bruce Boudreau
  3. Bruce Cassidy
  4. Curt Fraser
  5. Steve Ludzik
  6. Bob Murray
  7. Eddie Olczyk
  8. Rick Paterson
  9. Denis Savard
  10. Darryl Sutter
  11. Doug Wilson
...All went on to be either NHL head coaches or GMs (or both).

Not sure this is true. Seemed like pretty much all Flames fans were ready for a real coach, and begging for Sutter specifically.

Maybe they should stitch the C on Sutter’s jacket. This way he would get two cracks at the refs on iffy calls.
