Solid deal for the Oilers. Good GMing by Holland.

The fact that it's such a good deal shows how much the rest of the league disrespect Kane's conduct. The Oilers are putrid.

Unfortunately Kane was really good for them and was thinking he'll get 7 but I guess the term was something that no one else was going to give. Hopefully he goes off the rails like he has always gone before now that he got his big deal.

Well if he wants to be 'apart of a championship' he definitely chose the right place.

Wow, this place is so toxic sometimes. OF#81 is a good guy and he’s probably heard some things and knows some things that don’t need to be out there. It’s not like he just signed up today and started posting. A little discretion when it comes to some of these topics isn’t the worst thing.

Well Oilers should be better than Flames on paper for the next while. They're retaining their offensive firepower, and will keep competitive with that.

Remember this could be all for not depending on how the grievance turns out. He talked to other teams and ended up signing with the Oilers which makes it pretty clear no other team was going to take the risk of offering him four years. Pretty rare when 31 teams can come to a consensus on a player. Now he's got his deal it's only a matter of time before Evander Kane shows his true colors and that's going to be fun times for Flames fans.

Bahahahah that's great. Always nice to see Oilers fans here when there's nothing on the line. I don't need you to confirm what we all saw in Winnipeg alone 10 years ago and it only escalated from there, but I am sure you hold the smoking gun that would clear him.

Unless he's in daily therapy sessions learning how not to be a narcissistic s###bag, this deal blows up in Edmonton's face. I'm betting as early as training camp. Evander Kane with job security and nothing to prove is exactly the Evander Kane you don't want to go anywhere near.

Would have signed him to a 1-year 'show me' contract if at all. No-one else in the league wants this stink near their team. Oilers will be sorry soon enough.

Great cap hit for the player, which was only lowered because of the excess baggage.

So happy this piece of s*** didn't end up a Flame. Dude is a terrible human being and he and the Oilers deserve each other.

Would love for San Jose to get the contract reinstated and then flip him to the oilers for an asset

You sure like to pretend to be an insider, lol.

No, he’s a classic Oilers fan boy that pretends to have sources.

Their goaltending and defense is still awful.

How would a fan have "legal information" about stuff that happened in the US?

Did anyone see Gene Principe interview on sports net saying that Kane is an example "for all humanity" for being willing to take less money to really help the team get better. ##### off he never had any other options. Just embarassing stuff by their garbage media.
