I have zero issue cheering for the lightning.

Cheering on the Bolts, because not only do the Oilers not deserve to win another cup after lazing their way to the number one picks. But a Lightning win if the Oilers get there, which they won't, will also have the sound of the window slamming on the Oilers chances for a long time due to their cap crunch.


But it doesn't matter, the Av's are just a flat out better team that can up tempo the suppossed up tempo the Oilers.

I've been one of the biggest TLB haters since '04. Had plenty of people tell me it's different players now so the hate should be gone. People tell me it's time to move on. Tell me this, tell me that. But F that, I'll never forgive Tampa EVER for winning it all.

Having said that, I will gladly take the Lightning over the Oilers 11/10. Not even a question about it.

I don't expect to watch, and probably won't care much about what happens, but I would prefer anyone over the Oilers. Evander Kane's name on the cup this season would be a travesty. It would certainly turn me further off of the NHL.

I’ve never hated the Bolts. It’s not like they didn’t call the game 6 goal. The worst thing they did in that series was a slight interference by MSL for the OT goal in 6. And their fans have never been objectionable.
