Regulation wins too, Panthers may have been first in points but a lot of teams won more regulation games (like the Flames) no 3 on 3 or shootouts in the playoffs.

Florida probably should have lost to Washington to be honest.

The Miami Heat are currently getting blown out. The Panthers lose a heartbreaker to a buzzer beater. Not a great night for Southern Floridians

I like Greg Millen but he's up there with Don Cherry for consistently botching names. Called Vasilevskiy "Vaxilesky" and has multiple pronunciations for Jarnkrok and uses them interchangeably throughout a game.

I'm gonna put $100 on Tampa to 3-peat, it just seems inevitable at this point

They do seem to be starting to peak. This year still seems like Colorado’s to me.

I still say Carolina is the other best team that nobody talks about. Their metrics and RWs are top 5 in the league. They've survived losing their starting goalie and are starting to come on.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them come out of the east.

With no Point they’re beatable by the Canes or whomever comes out of the west. Not saying they’ll lose just that they’re beatable.

Sucks for the Leafs to have to play a team like that in the first round.

No, please tell me more about what the money line is right now. I haven't heard about it for about 3 minutes. Thanks SN.

Just mentioned that in the other thread. All this gambling stuff is totally out of control. Friedman updating the odds between periods. Is that part of the NHL’s arrangement with the betting sites? Or part of SN’s advertising contracts?

Yes I’d like to know that. It is out of control. I get gambling makes money but it’s way too much.

On the one hand it would be nice to have Colorado out of the way. On the other, the Blues look like an improved version of the Stars.

SN created an entire division devoted to gambling, that;s why Cabbie works for them now.

Quote:
One of the nation’s most respected sports media personalities is coming home to Canada as Sportsnet welcomes Cabral Richards to its roster. Better known as Cabbie, the veteran sports media personality – widely revered for his unique interviewing style and multiplatform talent – joins Sportsnet as Executive Producer of Sports Betting Content.

“There are few media personalities anywhere who have achieved instant first-name recognition and who resonate strongly with a diverse set of audiences. Cabbie’s style, enthusiasm, and originality are unrivaled, and his addition to Sportsnet is another exciting step in our expansion into sports betting and continued content innovation,” said Andrew Sutherland, VP of Original Content at Sportsnet.

I suspect they did this because the gambling sites are now a massive and relatively untapped source of ad revenue.
