I don't agree. To my eyes Kakko was on a path that wasn't going to collide with the goalie before he was pushed, which happened really when he was almost on the goalie. At worst he didn't react fast enough. That's not enough for me to agree that there's was something he should've/could've done but didnt.

To me the expectation the ref put on the players ability to react there was ridiculous. Dubious call at best, and ended up basically flipping the game.

Bad call. IMO.

Nah. Nobody will ever say that the NHL is consistent with this stuff but that was one of the easier calls as Kakko's leg contacted the goaltender first and took him right out of the crease.

Just saw the end of series presser. How do the penguins not go mental on that call? I would seriously lose it. Seriously. What rules are we playing to?
