Oilers certainly have lots of experience...at being complete failures.

The Kings on the other hand have a few guys who have been through this many times before and have won 2 Cups.

Draisaitl, McDavid, Kane, RNH, Hyman only have experience being abject failures at meaningful hockey in the minimal experience they do have.

Kopitar has more winning experience than all of them combined.

Kopitar and Danault have more playoff experience and are better 2 way players than McDavid and Draisaitl. This series will be closer than the media is expecting.

Two teams with lots of holes, but the Oilers are really hot and will ride that into the 2nd round BoA.

Oilers in 2. Kings give up because McPissy are unstoppable freight trains and Smith is an impenetrable fortress in net.

Kings don't stand a chance.

This is exactly my thought as well.

Kings are very structured and are going to make things hard for the Oiler's rushing offense. If they're disciplined and stay out of the box, it's going to be hard for the Oilers to score. The trap-style of the Kings could lead to lots of turnovers the other way, giving the Kings a chance to score off the counter-attack on a frequent basis.

If the goaltending is shaky at all, it could actually be a short series for the Oilers...and not in the way they were hoping.

It really is dependent on their inconsistent goaltending, so it makes it hard to predict.

If Edmonton loses the first game they will lose the series.

Oilers in 5.

LA truly going to miss Doughty on the blue line, Smith has some of the best numbers in the league the last couple months, and the Oiler defense has really settled down of late.

Oilers in five. They're on a roll and LA is the weakest team in the conference.

I want to be wrong but I think Oilers will take this series in 5 or 6 games.

Nope, just in April.

He's been up and down from month to month..

Like a toilet seat.

Oilers aren't made for the playoffs. Smith is ready for a collapse.
