Haha there's always that. But if they do survive tonight their schedule isn't that bad. Really the only games they'll likely lose are against us and the wild. If LA falters they have a real chance to sneak in.

LA and Vancouver have a game against each other coming up too. Last game of the season for each team I think. Reminds me of Naslund’s infamous we choked speech.

How would Vancouver meet Colorado in round 1?!!? Maybe you are predicting a 2nd round matchup? I just checked the odds… 8% chance of getting the 6th seed, 2% for 8th. So yes, you must be a Canucks fan hoping for a 2nd round matchup.

Sportsclubstats says that regulation loss dropped Vegas' playoff odds down 18.8%, down to about 18% only.
That's a shame.

The WCs seem more feasible since both teams are looking inconsistent and I'd say chances are good Calgary and Edmonton take more points from them.

The Coyotes lost in respectable fashion, 5-3 to Carolina.
