Kinda funny the Flames are so comfortable in a spot that most of us were cheering for the opposite result then one that would clinch the Flames a spot.

Tell that to your pre season self

I just cashed a couple Flames/playoff bets, thanks haters and negative Nellie's

Yup. Vegas could very well miss the playoffs now. I don't know why people are worried about them even if they make it, they look mortal.

The Canucks are still a long shot, but their best chance to make the playoffs is likely finishing 3rd in the Pacific. If the Blue Jackets defeat the Kings tonight, things are looking even better.

They do, but there are a lot of guys on that team with tons of playoff experience. I still think they'd beat Edmonton in a series.

Edmonton is virtually locked in.

Which means we will likely get Rick Ball for the Flames first round.

Sportsnet will give Harnarayan Singh to the Oilers series which will be deemed the more marquee matchup because of the McD factor.

I’m very much okay with that.

Cuthbert will be on Leafs until they’re knocked out. If the Flames and Oilers win their first rounds and Leafs were to lose, we could get Cuthbert on a Battle of Alberta series, like he did in 1991.

Love that.

I can't believe I'm saying this but, I'm cheering for the Canucks to make it in.

Need LA and Dallas to lose tonight. If that doesn’t happen, it’s pretty much over.

I haven't watched the Saturday pre-game show on SN much this season......how long have they been doing this Draft Kings SN Bet thingy? It's terrible. Please just talk hockey, not the betting lines.

I think we are going to need to get used to it. These betting sites will
Be buying time for that content on pre game and highlight shows. There is a fair amount of people that are into it and with it becoming legal in more places, especially now that it is in Ontario, we are going to get more of it. Not less.

They have a losing record against the Flames at the Dome, and Flames will have home ice.

Domination? 2-1 this year. GFPGF, GFPGA dead even at 3. Game before last the Flames beat them 6-0. Previous game was close, 3-2.

Isn't this cute. All the insecure Oiler trolls are coming to CP to show their knowledge of "stuff".

Historically you’re 4-10 against Vegas, that’s dominance. You had a chance to stifle that team’s playoff hopes. But instead you layed an egg. My point was the Flames had much to play for vs the Knights.

Happy to see Vegas' playoff hopes take a gut punch.

Not happy to see a team that ran our squad out of the Dome the other night lay a complete egg 2 nights later.

Oh well. NHL is an unpredictable league. Let's see what happens next month.

Historically.......who cares. Neither team is the same as they were a year or two ago.

What is it with teams throwing up total stinkers against the Oil after playing much better games in Calgary? And Vegas had a day's rest in there as well. Knights should be ashamed of themselves.
