Pelletier gets a call-up before Phillips IMO.

With Mackey, Valimaki, and Ruzicka all recalled, they only have one more non-emergency call-up available for the rest of the season. I doubt we see another one in the near future.

Definitely. It has likely been a very long first season of pro hockey for him, but he's ready, and at this point he's the best suited player to slot into the top wing.

For sure, I'm just saying that in some respects it's easier for them to recall a guy who they can send back down.
If they recall Phillips and he doesn't click, then you're stuck with a guy on your roster and you can't readily let him keep playing because you can't reassign him.
And yes, Pelletier is exempt from waivers. All I'll say is this — he's benefited a ton from playing with Phillips this season, but he's one hell of a player.
Pelletier isn't a whole lot bigger than Phillips (maybe an inch) and plays a very similar style, hard into the corners and the crease, first on loose pucks. Both play like they're 6'2".

I thought Phillips was a couple of inches shorter like 30lbs lighter than Pelletier.

Pelletier isn't tall, no clue on the weight.
Is Zary looking decent for his role? Points are okay but I assume he is playing down in the lineup?

Officially, Phillips is 5'8", 165. Pelletier is 5'10", 180.
Watching them beside each other on the ice ... there isn't a whole lot of obvious difference. I'll try to find a picture.
Phillips is kinda leaning forward in this one but like, you get the drift:
Zary has been red-hot lately and is finding his groove in a 3C role. 14 points in his last 20 games IIRC and six goals in his last eight.

Okay, I must have been looking at old numbers... was thinking Phillips is 5'7" 140lbs still.

I like that line he has been on of Pospisil-Zary-Pettersen.
Can't help but think he will get even more opportunities with Ruzicka up.

It's been spectacular. Zary has been a treat to watch of late. Reminds me of how good he was with Ruzicka and Phillips at the start of 2020–21. Extremely dynamic with the puck, great at fooling defenders by changing speeds.

Looks like he might still be with the team, assuming this is from today...
* They may have also just held this video from yesterday since it looks like the players weren't on the ice today.

The other guys on the ice there are some big boys, making those two look smaller, the one besides Ruzicka, even looks bigger than him.

It's a weird angle Ruzicka is 6'4". Pospisil, the guy next to him, is 6'1" which is the same as Welinski(guy on the left).

So pretty good for a C+ prospect then?
