Yep, Dome is 100% cashless. Credit/Debit only, including in the seats beer vendors. They pass a debit machine down the row.

Technically speaking, the payment is called an indulgence and it is paid in order to reduce the amount of punishment from the heroin beer.

Well I feel old. I seem to remember Mrs Bingo was about to have the baby during the 2004 playoff run.

And I remember in Game 6 we only learned of the Gelinas OT goal/non-goal because you spoke to your wife at home on the phone during intermission (internet on phones not yet being a thing) and told us. Those of us at the game didn't know how close it was because it happened so fast.

LOL Sutter cracks me up...
Yesterday "Not enough practice time for Carpenter yet to get into games"
Day later with no additional practice "Carpenter in the line-up for tonights game"
Its the right call too though. Need to see what you have in him and no better atmosphere than a home date BOA.

That's funny.
I was living in North Carolina at the time and the only feed i could get was ABC.
They were on it pretty quick but also announced it was reviewed by the league and determined to be no goal.....which to this day i find impossible to believe after a 60 second tv timeout and no one was even talking about it before going to break.

I can't remember which game it was for in 2004 but our aerial truck set up a massive Flames flag off of the tip of the ladder before the game. Just outside the Saddledome.
We decorated our firetruck, 1 Engine, with a stanley cup we made out of large coffee cans wrapped in tinfoil topped with a steel mixing bowl. We hung a flag off of the back too. Not big enough to cause any issues obviously.
What a year that was and I got lucky enough to be stationed downtown for the entirety of the season. 17th ave was unbelievable!! I've never been flashed so many times in my life!
I can honestly say it was a unique and memorable way to enjoy that run. Let's hope this year can create some new ones. So far so good!

You are a firefighter?

As usual, the Oilers will be treating this game as their Stanley Cup. Flames need to be ready to counter that. As long as we bring our A game and don’t get sucked into a run & gun/trading chances type of game, the Flames will win.
Also, they need to smother McDrai and make their lives miserable tonight, just like they did last game.
