I think it was Friedman the other day who said the Aquilinis want to stay in the hunt this season if at all possible. Like other owners, they've lost huge amounts of gate revenue the last two years, and need capacity crowds ASAP to make some of that money back.

If this is true, they'll be kicking and clawing just to try to squeak into the playoffs, because that puts bums on seats.

He's going to be really good. But he's been in and out of the lineup so far this year.

And playoff hockey is hard for a 20 year old defenseman.
