Penalties did the Flames in tonight. Especialy late in the 2nd period when they gave the Habs a 2 man advantage that allowed Petry to score. Sutter will not be happy with the lack of discipline.

Oh boy, a performance like that against the best team in the league and it's gonna get ugly real quick.

Yeah he was brutal tonight. Every chance he got, Montreal is the better team. Yeah we get it Craig.

It might be time to bench Lucic for a game. He's been way behind the play for the last few weeks.

Monahan lost a few battles out there in the neutral zone, and isn't fast enough to hustle back.

I'd look at the prospect of shipping him with an asset and trying to get Jarnkrok to fill that position.

It's been a good run.. but this is a business of winning. And the Flames are pushing all their chips in.

Can't afford to have the center ice position let them down.

Kylington should be used as a weapon in OT with all that speed. Some questionable OT decisions.

Turning point was the Toffoli miss on the rolling puck which would've made it easily 2-0. Seconds later Kylington tries to be a hero and pick up the puck differently, flubs it, and the Habs score and instantly get confidence. The way Hammond couldn't contain any rebound it could've gotten ugly and be 3 or 4-0 before Montreal got a goal.

Definitely sloppy overall play after that. Garbage 5 on 3 call on Zadorov which lead to the MTL pp goal.

Interesting seeing Zadorov starting in OT.

Backlund in OT was a disaster, looking scared out there.and directly causing the gwg. The post game love affair Kelly had with Chariot was odd. We saw all of his highlights before we saw a replay of the GWG.

For people complaining about reggie posting goals fast, are you guys just F5ing the game thread or watching the game? His posts won’t show up if you don’t refresh. (Unless that’s a tapatalk thing, I don’t use that.)

Also, at least some guys will rotate back in to the lineup. I think Monahan will be munching some popcorn by the end of this year, possibly next game. Gotta get Ritchie far away again too.

Won’t be surprised to see Kylington scratched either. He has been overall awesome all year but his leash is short for whatever reason. Immediately yanked from PP2 after the gaffe tonight, didn’t see OT.

Think it's father time starting to take a toll? Or just burnt out from the intensity of the schedule.

He could use a rest. I wish we had good options to replace him with. Pelletier sure would be nice.

Yikes, that was not a great game.
Defintely lucky to get the point.
Montreal won every race to the puck, and just completely out-battled us. We're going to have to step it up several levels if we want to even be competitive against Colorado.

That wasn’t the turning point. Flames showed they couldn’t protect a two goal lead much later in the game.

They just didn’t play very well for the entire game. Take the point and run.

Maybe.....best team in the league lost to the Coyotes tonight.

Yeah, they have to be better but lets not pretend that this Avs team is playing like they were 2 weeks ago either.

I didn't say he was the worst player, but he is not 6 million player anymore. We need bring top 6 guy and we need the cap space.
