The Avs lost their first road game in reg time in the past nine games. Hall and Pastrnak both had 3 points. The loss by the Avs helps the Flames who are 10 points back of the Avs for 1st in the western conf. and overall.
The Hurricanes took a while to get going as they had only 2 shots in the 1st period.
Caufield and Anderson each had 3 points in the Habs win. The Leafs did make it a bit interesting in the 3rd period when they scored 2 goals in 45 seconds.
The Canucks were 4/4 on the PK and scored 4 straight goals to secure the win.
