he'll get at least 30 points in the next 37 games with 10 to 15 goals.

He can score goals that’s for sure.

I hope him and Monahan find some chemistry together and that Toff gets some PP time.

Playoffs are what matter though and he’s got experience.

An upgrade on Ritchie, at the very least. Helping the monahan/Dube line being more effective line offensively. Ability to play up the line up in the event of injuries and line juggling.

Not bad work for an incompetent idiot, right?

One thing I’m hoping for the most is he gets Monahan going to the point he has some trade value at the end of the season.

I hope he plays hockey, otherwise the 1st was an overpay.

His numbers will go down slightly from his montreal numbers. Montreal had zero depth and Toffoli was getting more than his share of opportunities. In Calgary he'll be on the PP2 unit, instead of always getting PP1 time. He won't get the best matchups. He'll also be expected to play a lot more defence.

I see Toffoli as a 50-60 point player in Calgary. The difference we'll be that he seems like the kind of guy who will maintain or even step up his numbers for the playoffs. He's the key to an offensive one/two punch. Our top line is obviously playing great. Now the second line looks a lot more legit. Would really love it if he can find chemistry with Monahan and bring back his game. That would give the Flames legit centre depth.

Toffoli's motor will keep the opposing defence occupied, which will open up more space for the other skaters. Love the move.

Funny on how sutter has changed the trajectory of the org, as the coach. This is definitely a good deal by the GM.

You won't be getting a "I told you so" if that's what you are looking for

He's here to improve the 3rd line and 2nd PP

That's more important than individual points. Getting Monahan and Dube going is just as important as what he does personally.

More points than Eichel will have in the same span... That would be nice to see.
