So the York Hotel facade is still in a warehouse somewhere, right? Is that something the city is responsible for, or the developer?
One that I was wrong about was the Riverwalk, which I thought was going to be kinda mediocre based on initial renderings, but has far exceeded my expectations. It's the sort of thing that really shines once people are using it.

As far as I know all those facade bricks are stored away and tagged. Not sure who owns them though.

This thread here, right? Unfortunately it doesn't look like the image file you used is still valid.

I personally would like to see a three-lane road (such as Eastbound on Bow Trail in the morning) to be one lane for BRT, one lane for carpooling, and one lane for single drivers - all the way in.
Calgarians would ache and moan, but effectively the BRT gets priority, carpooling gets priority (and reduces cars on the road), and single lane drivers can still operate.
More than anything, lanes dedicated to BRT and with minimal stoppages would be ideal here. It's effectively a train on wheels and with a dedicated right-of-way.
Hell, let's get more crazy - busses get funneled in through that underground downtown tunnel built in the 1960's and the whole stretch under Stephen Ave hits both west and east entry points while providing a heated transit hub to move bigger vehicles - and people - through the core.

With that building changing hands, and being in limbo along the way, etc. I hope that they are not forgotten forever, or Theon out because someone who doesn’t know what they are throws them out.
I wish there was a way for the city to force that block to be completed.

Good chance those bricks are in the Indiana Jones warehouse at this point, right next to the Ark.

In hindsight, the NDP weren't bad at all. I wish I could go back and tell myself that before the last provincial election.

Hard to believe screwing up the PPAs was minor by comparison.

Yep, rough start, but a good government. And if nothing else a million times better than the racist, regressive, stupid government we elected. ****ing dinosaurs. We literally elected dinosaurs.

Too bad their (NDP) slate of candidate during their accidental win was peppered with warm bodies. My MLA had no qualifications and, hence, did not do anything over the elected term. The positive was that I will definitely consider the NDP as a viable choice as long as they have a pragmatic leader/policies. Too far right or left is a big Nope.

Oh man, that sums our situation up perfectly. Our zone changed and the incumbent NDPer was more focused on the urban/tourist aspects of the area and the UCP candidate had more of a rural focus. The UCPer won and she is just the worst. There is literally nothing she could do now for me to vote for her ever again.

I can say with confidence there are UCP warm bodies just as much as there were NDP ones.
In hindsight ... Prentice was right.

Maybe it's just because I wasn't paying attention, but the whole UCP leadership team (Kenney notwithstanding) seems to have come out of nowhere to me and none of them have been particularly good at their jobs. So I'm pretty sure we can also apply this criticism to the UCP. Okay actually I just checked and they're all a bunch of rookies.
