Yeah. They were admiring the fact that PP2 actually scored a goal "earlier in the year".

What a glorious first period at Rogers Place.

Funny thing about that period as it was arguably the best period the Oilers have played in a month.

Crysidle with a nice nut shot. I wouldve leveled him if he did that to me.

Yeah, Oilers actually had 5 on 5 zone time that period.

Super unusual.

I know it's only the Oilers, but the Wild a scary team. Just super deep. I thought their goaltending was suspect, and it probably is their weakest link, but it seems adequate enough.

Talbot is good enough to hold up his end for a contender-level roster.

That Zegras pass was disgusting. That could be the coolest goal I’ve seen since Ovi’s falling goal. Unbelievable.

So pleasing to hear the Wild broadcasting team.

Humble ...understating the Wild dominance.

Incredible contrast to the buffoons on the Oiler crew.

I love young talents that come into the league and don't know any better yet, and try outlandish things and they work.

Gaudreau tried some mindbending stuff early in his career too.

Ouch just saw the hit. Looked clean but you never know what nhl sees.

Khiara has been concussed way too many times past few years hopefully he will be OK. I think this is 3rd time he's been KOd on the ice.

That dude's head isn't made for hockey. He's been knocked out a lot.

This, plus the Perlini 'September star', plus the talk earlier of the Oilers' strategy being the same every year and they never learn, prompted this thought:

Definition of Edmonton: doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.
