It wasn’t Andersson’s speed it was his poor defensive decision making in OT. Take the pass or take the shooter just don’t take nobody.

Also- too long a shift by Lindholm and Gaudreau.

The Flyers were pressuring the puck carrier big time in OT, which of course was 13. It felt uncomfortable from the start.

The turnover is on Gaudreau but this team needs a better approach for 3 on 3. That kind of pressure on the puck 3 on 3 should be something you capitalize on. Something’s not working right.

Maybe it's just optics but Andersson looks so out of his league in OT.

Like an out of shape beer leaguer out there. lol When will Sutter use the real Kyit in OT??

The same game he decides to give him Rasmus’s power play time.

Rasmus better work on his conditioning next year. I think he looks out of shape. Looks great first period then slowly gets slower and slower.

I would really like to know where he ended up in fitness testing this year.

It was a well played game but the team really needs to start pulling out wins in these close games. The loser points are inflating the record as the reality is that they have won only 8/16 games which isn't great.

Complete 50/50 game.
Both teams played well and 2 good goalies.

Had a feeling it would come down to OT, and we sadly suck there. But overall not one you can be too mad about.

This is where we really miss Brodie and Gio. Flames used to be money in OT with those guys.

Sub Kylington for Rasmus' PP and 3 on 3 duties and I bet you we win this.

He did what he was supposed to do. He prevented the pass across and left the shot to Markstrom. If he was covering Atkinson he would have allowed a breakaway. It was a crap rebound. Nothing Anderson could do there.

They possessed the puck well, and got back quickly when it was given up.

Great OT "third man" players.

The OT play was similar to the one where Hanifin and Monahan gave it up for a two on one. The Flames played to the corner and gave it up. They need to be willing to reset. Hell, throw it 200 feet to Markstrom.

Yeah I'm fairly sure I could lip read him telling Johhny to stay out too long and get gassed coming back and for Rasmus to just do nothing but watch the play.

Was a bold move by Sutter, didn't pay off.

Surprised Flames only at about 25% on the deserve to win meter but I think powerplays skew those percentages.
