The crazy thing is it was almost 4 for 4

Kipper never had 3 in 4...goal scoring is also higher these days

Markstrom's run has been ridiculous

3 in 4 is a great achievement.

Kipper in 05-06, had back to back SOs, then 3 additional times that season he had 2 SOs in 3 games.

Marky’s 3rd was a fairly easy one. If the team keeps playing like they have been, the sky is the limit

I vaguely remember Brian Boucher getting like 6 straight shutouts or something…

He got 5 and was scored on in the 6th game

Legend and modern day NHL record holder. Only Alec Connell of the 27-28 Sens has more with 6.

Lots of goalies got 3 in a row. Roy, Brodeur, Luongo. Trevor Kidd, Mike Smith, Brian Elliott, Greg Millen …

Flames should try and get Markstrom a record!

This is great . Add to the fact we have some other great goalies in the system and I can't say I've ever been this comfortable.

I thought so too. Wasn't that with Phoenix?

Than Connel really was a stud. Held his team together. Was a good man.

That, and forward passes in the attacking zone were illegal back then.

George Hainsworth got 22 shutouts in 44 games in 1928-29. Then they changed the rule so fans wouldn't fall asleep during games, or worse yet, sleep at home and fail to buy tickets.

I remember them as if I slept through them, like everyone else who was there.

Imagine only given up 43 goals in 44 games and only winning 22 out right...nuts
