Look, these 2 guys are primarily one dimensional offensive defensemen
Career wise
Dougie has 607 GP, 106 g, 235 a, 341 pts
Barrie has 610 GP, 88 g, 306 A, 394 pts
I’ve seen Dougie play D. He was soft in front of the net and in the corners. Not all that great defensively.
Was just being in Edmonton so demoralizing that Barrie viewed himself as hot garbage? Some kind of Stockholm syndrome?
