The Ducks cleaned house on their San Diego Gulls affiliate yesterday, so it's unlikely there's any promotions from within.

I hope it's nothing serious and just a life style decision or that he is going for another gig somewhere. He didn't work out as HC for the Flames, but he seems like a good guy.

While he wasn't the right coach for this group, I never got on board with all the hate thrown at him. Frankly, this group of players as a group blows chunks and that got proven repeatedly even with Sutter as the bench boss. I firmly blame this season's suckage on the players and much less so on whatever coach we had.
