38 city mpg from an 8-passenger van that will still be worth something in 10-15 years is very very difficult to argue with.

I have a Rav4 V6 and fuel economy is not impressive, but that's probably more a reflection of my driving. It likes to go fast and can get up to 100 quickly so gas mileage would likely be better if I drove slower

Prior to hybrids, though, moving around an 8-passenger vehicle was not efficient. Singling out a Sienna doesn't make sense. Look at a Yukon, Expedition, etc. Large vehicles suck back the fuel.

Ecoboosts do rule. I have a 2.7 F-150 and it's great on gas.
Stop and go traffic was its mortal enemy.

I realize other big vehicles have the same issue, just stating why the Sienna hybrid is a really good idea.

I was going to say I didn’t get the sienna fuel economy hate, but yah, we rarely drive it in stop and go. We usually get 10 l/100 kms on the highway and I’m always shocked often it sits in eco mode, even up and down hills. But yes, stop and go would not be so good I’m sure. And I agree, absolutely perfect option for a hybrid. They are going to sell a kabillion of them I’m sure.

3M or similar film is a good idea if buying new vehicle on hood and mirrors as minimum coverage. WeatherTech mats are expensive, but worth it and have been very good for winter slush, not ruining the carpet. I have used various paint polish/wax/sealant over the years and found Turtle Wax hybrid solutions ceramic wax spray to be the easiest, quick, and long lasting. Water is still beading and paint is shiny from last September's application.
