I'm not going to look at a map just on principle and to spite you guys. I shall bask in my ignorance of all things map related henceforth.

I mean I don't even know who to respond to this without being rude to your mother.
I didn't take 1 geography class in University (I should have it might have helped my average), but knowing where China is in relation to Vancouver isn't really Lewis and Clark or Magellan level stuff.

Well I know it's on the right, but I don't know the fastest way for ships to circumnavigate the globe. It had to go around Africa for all I fataing knew. I know there are pirates around Somalia and that's pretty much the extent of my sea-faring knowledge. I actually don't even know if that's how you spell "faring" but I'm not going to look it up because I really don't care about navigating the sea except for wanting my shipment here.

TBF it's actually precisely Magellan level stuff as he was the first to circumnavigate the globe through the pacific ocean. Or rather his crew did after some Phillipinos killed him.

I couldn't either however I didn't overly care.
She's not so good with the maps. That's just the tip of the iceberg but I feel no need to slag her on here.
I bought her a really nice globe for Christmas after the UK thing. She did not find it amusing whatsoever. If she's done with it maybe I'll get her to mail it to Sliver. I'll see if I can get her to mark out the left and right side of China before she ships it. I hope inter-provincial post doesn't go through the Suez...

Of all Sliver's "viewpoints", I think claiming to not understand basic geography of the world is the hottest of takes.

Doubtful. There's a sleuth of bears a stone's throw away from her house. You'd have performance anxiety.
