You are correct Red. I have now looked at the NBC Sports link and see how it was the Knights nearly completed the comeback, but, fell short.

I didn't really know to be honest, I just saw the score at some point and Minnesota was leading. I can't understand how the other website got their scorecard so wrong. Incredible.

That McDavid pass on the 7th goal was really nice.

Big game coming up. Gotta cheer for the Canucks I guess and no 3 points!

Ugh, gross. Flames are gonna have to go on quite a run to catch the Oilers at this point, which is incredibly sad, pathetic and embarrassing. I f'n hate this timeline so much.

Hopefully Sutter can at least get them playing a better brand of hockey over these remaining 30 games. And if we can somehow find a way to squeak into the dance, it would be a nice bonus.

It may not be all bad. This could set the Flames up for a first round match-up to deliver a Sutterised ass-kicking to the Oilers when the playoffs start.

Canucks in complete God-Goalie mode.

They got very used to it over the last couple seasons.

Looks like Chiarot hurt his hand pretty good in that scrap.

And the Habs just make it 1-0.

I doubt the Oilers finish first in the division, so a first round match up looks unlikely.

Slimmer than slim chance of this.
If we get into the playoffs, we are playing Toronto. Edmonton is the most likely path for us to catch, not to play.

If only the Oilers had become infatuated with Sam Bennett and left Draisaitl for the Flames. He wouldn't score like he does with McDavid, but the Flames would be much better up front with him. We would have that 1-2 punch down the middle to be a really good team. Any other team on Earth would turn McDavid and Drai into a Stanley Cup winner. It's similar to Pittsburgh getting Crosby and Malkin in back to back drafts.

The Kings started a rookie goalie, Grosenick, and it has worked. They lead 4-1 in the third period.

He probably would never have the confidence/cockiness to do as he has done with McDoofus, and Flames fans would be lamenting about this slowass oneway mediocre player.

Right now it's looking like we'll be 6 points back of Montreal with them having one game in hand.

These next two games are going to be absolutely huge. If we end up 10 points back with them having one game in hand...yikes.

Yep.
I've been feeling like getting back into the playoff picture is very attainable given the head to heads, but now it's put up time.

Losing the 2 against Montreal would be a deep hole indeed.
