I would rather have a cardboard cut out of Gallant behind the bench than Ward.

Would inspire more confidence, too.

Now we get to see if ownership has the sense to make changes or if we just get to hear more of the same "Trust the process" "The answer is in the room" BS

7-1.

The Leafs are probably looking at that scoreline and thinking let's try to beat them by more.

Fasten your seatbelts folks, these next 2 games won't be pretty...

Doubt there will be any coaching change. Covid revenue down year is my guess as to why bargain bin interim coach Ward was kept on for the year. Keep on keeping on and hope they don’t break Markstrom too early into that massive contract.

Lou, on the fan.

Well, they are good people and they played hard.

I can't stand him right now.

Think I'm done with PGT gifs even if the team wins. Not worthy of my time.

100% satan emojis costing this team big. I blame the satanists on this board. That and Wards system, but mostly satanists. Did I mention the satanists?

This is what it looks like when a team has completely quit on their coach. It is demoralizing when the person who is supposed to have the answers has no clue what they are doing.

This team is completely lost, and the first place you look to fix that is with a real coach who doesn't take crap from the players.

Or go full Flames and do nothing, it is their way.

Hard to second guess it - after Ekblad it was Sam, Sam and Leon all year.

Hard to believe Bennett was actually rated higher than all those guys, plus Pasternak, Nylander, Fiala, Ehlers, Larkin, Tuch...

I don’t think Ward is getting fired, but he is going to have to change because what he’s bringing is not going to get it done.

I kind of feel bad for Ward because he had an opportunity to go back to the “old” lines but suddenly Monahan got hurt. But then I realize it probably wouldn’t have mattered anyway, if everyone else is stuck playing the same boring system. He’s likely lost the trust of the team and it’s becoming evident that he doesn’t have the answers. I hope he proves me wrong but I’m not holding my breath.

Also Backlund should sit a game for sabotaging this game. Yeah they probably still would have lost but that was one of the most selfish things I have ever seen.
Meh, showed heart, wish more would.

Well, at least they didn't allow Gaetan Haas to get any points on them. That's sort of a positive?

Wills and Luobo blaming the goaltending?!?!

Holy good grief. That is ridiculous. Ridiculous.

The Flames scored 1 goal, and bled scoring chances.

Well definitely no ATL, but I'm in full meme mode now toiling away in Photoshop and will have something equally hilarious and cathartic up in this thread later.
