You’re not in either team’s region.

Someone on this board needs to come up with a snappy nickname about Connor’s plus/minus. I swear to God, every single time I look, he’s -1. He could score 9 points and....-1.
McMinus? That’s all I’ve got. You all can do better..

Principe: Kassian gone so the oilers are forced to play Draisaitl with McDavid.
That strikes me as funny.

Always got Canucks games in the past. Must be because of the North division this year. I can’t stand Canadian broadcasting limitations. It’s ridiculous.

Also Shannon. Talking about Yamamoto’s ice time. 12 minutes through 2 periods thus far.
“Again on pace between 14-17 minutes per night”
... Math doesn’t work like that either.

So the puck over the glass is a legit penalty because the refs felt Larsson did it on purpose regardless of location. Makes Debrusks meltdown even funnier. Bummer the Sens didn’t get a call on the obvious trip at the end of the period too. Oh well.

Shannon: I phoned the league and they say the penalty was because it was an intentional delay of game, not an automatic one based on his position on the ice.
The point for me - HE PHONED THE LEAGUE ABOUT A MINOR PENALTY.

Shannon on Draisaitl: "it might be the fastest shot in the National Hockey League"
This is why Oiler fans are perpetually clueless - they are constantly fed garbage. They are constantly told that their team is the best, the most amazing, the hardest done by, the most cheated by the refs and the league, the best looking, and just the most awesome-est.
All. The. Time.

Like... unless he means release that makes no sense. And if he did mean release, that was a terrible way to word it.

Draisaitl is the best in the league at making a 2 on 1 saucer pass. I did not know that.

He almost certainly meant his release. But it is still beyond ridiculous.
The point though, is that the Oiler media is constantly doing this sort of thing. For decades. Oiler fans that don't watch other games would rationally conclude that the Oilers are easily the greatest team to ever play the hockeys.

Delicious kool-aid is delicious.
Edit -
Jake Virtanen reminds me on Rene Bourque. Just a stupid hockey player. Amazing abilities, great tools, dumb as a post.
