I zero faith in the Flames and fully expect a loss with a McDavid hat trick.

Nah, they’ll play hard because they’re getting thrashed on here and in media and by their coaches (hopefully/ maybe) etc.

Then they’ll mail it in the next game for a period or two again.

Tanev and Hanifin should get a heavy dose of McDavid. That's our D pairing that should be able to best handle his speed.

I fully expect the Flames to show up tonight and think we're looking at a really good game.

The difference could be whether Tkachuk is able to elevate his play.

Hopefully this is the game where the team finally wakes up and plus with emotion and effort for 60 minutes. I am sure the Oilers will be ready so the Flames better be prepared.

I expect the flames to come out strong with Johnny leading the way!

I also expect our 4th line to get way over played and get feasted on by the bobbsy twins.

I just hope they play well enough to keep me interested going into the second period. The last couple games I have given up on them after the first because they looked pretty awful.

Just please level "the real heel Neal". Unless he's scratched.

Why do I get the feeling that there will be a lot of bad penalties taken in this game by the Flames. Markstrom is gonna have to be at his absolute best tonight

Valimaki - Nesterov

How the heck did it come to this?

Simon AND Leivo both in the top-9 16 games 1 assist.

Not that Jankowski and Rieder were difference makers they were definitely better than the 3 replacement plugs Trev brought in .

Where is Pelletier? Are the Flames writing off this season to save a year of his ELC?

Does the Flames management realize that they might/should not be around for benefit.

I would have higher expectations having Kylington playing in the top-9

If we play like we did against Winnipeg last game this could easily become 4-0 in the first period. (Yes their defence and goaltending is garbage but we cant score apparently).
Agreed, please no more Simon in the top 6. Think the 3 combine for about 5 shots on net total.

Oh and stang you are one of the few rival fans that I don’t mind putting up with but logging on at 1 in the morning to post the GDT on your main rival fans board is one of those unwritten rules that you know you shouldn’t cross. CP has been pretty good to you just saying. Here’s to the oilers doing oilers things though and stinkin’ up the place tonight

The rare 92-point game, where the entire season -- and perhaps the direction of the entire franchise -- rests on the outcome of a hockey game (or so I've been told).

BOA, HNIC. Kick some *** Flames and get your season going. The snek is waiting.
