Woooooo ya Flames! Not the most beautiful game and the 1-0 score difference is enough to really lay on some stress at times but a win is a win!

Refs are total dickbutts for looking the other way for the 5-0 Habs on the Tkachuk infraction.

Bush league coddling of a team that's had everything go right for them so far.

Props to the boys for pushing through and sinking the dagger on a great patient EN play in the final minute.

We lose big without markstrom. Tkachuk was terrible. Ryan our best forward. Chalk that game up to goaltending or the loss streak is alive and well

Markstrom with the shutout and Johnny with the snipe. The best players won the game.

Does Tkachuk know that he doesn't have to go between the legs for every pass?

He needs some time in the press box.

It’s been so long. How to we goaltender worship again? I’ve grown old and forgotten.

Outside of Markstrom it was a pretty mediocre effort which, considering the context of coming into this game- should be troubling to the people running it.

Care factor is iffy at best.

Brilliant from Markstrom, huge to get a win when so many forwards are scuffling, he and Tanev have been the best Flames by a country mile thus far.

Gutsy win all things considered.

Best game from Nordstrom, best from Ryan in a while. Huge blocks by Razzy and Valimaki.

After a couple days of talking about battling for one another they did exactly that. Razzy in scrums every chance he got. Backlund with a careless stick penalty, and then got another later while colliding with Gallagher (who sold it I think), great to see him not wilt but battle even harder with Gallagher in the 3rd and earn that empty net goal to ice it.

Hail Satan. Praise Markstrom.

I like seeing Johnny be a difference maker again.

I'm sure he enjoys it much more too.

When you play Edmonton and Vancouver many times easy to be a top offensive team.

Markstrom stole this one tonight and good for him! I can see why the Canucks won games last year and made the playoffs.

Just watched the Dube hit fir the first time now - how is anyone calling that a head hit? Dube clearly has both hands on his upper chest at contact.

100% clean.
