Tonight is both Gio's 900th career game and Tkachuk's 300th.
Make it a night to remember.

As memorable as the time Tkachuk wore kitty cat makeup for Halloween ?

Here's how I'm looking at the current slump.
The Flames always slump after a layoff.
Thats why we were so glad that the layoff was early in the season. Get the slump out of the way, so when things start clicking then they'll just roll the rest of the way.
Here's to tonight's game being game 1 of the post-slump Era 2021.

29? In a heartbeat. 14? No chance in hell.

Id take going back to 25. Or actually 30. Early 30s were great.

Montreal plays with a lot of pace. Their forecheck is especially strong.
The Flames gotta find a way to move the puck effectively past the pressure. The transition game is the key to winning.

Oh man. I’d love to re-live 25-27. Not sure I’d survive it a second time. Hard livin, hard lovin.
This is more for Cali but I was just talking with a buddy not too long ago.
When you’re in your 20’s it seems like you’ve got all the time in the world to do stuff but no money to do it. Then once you’re in you’re 40’s you’ve got the money but not the time. Life can be cruel sometimes.

This one has disaster written all over it. There’ll be player only meetings. Lots of soul searching.

Or worse yet, you retire and now have the money and time to do things and go places, and Covid hits, leaving you stuck at home. The early years of retirement are supposed to be the best years of retirement when you are still healthy enough and able to do stuff.

I thought not being able to play shows was the absolute worst, but god-damn bro, I actually really feel bad for you.
As for the game, I thoroughly predict another total dumpster fire. This roster has no jam outside of Chucky and Ras.

Scoring Winger
|
I feel like we will get a early unfortunate goal scored against us and will fold like last game.
Hopefully Ward has a few bud lights on the plane for the boys, we may need a train moment on the trip to Winnipeg.

If there is one thing I have learned about the Calgary Flames its that blind optimism is never rewarded.
