Parsons is rehabbing another injury, that's not good.
We seem to have a lot of injuries to our prospect goalies, I wonder if this is normal compared to other teams. If not I wonder if we are doing something wrong in terms of playstyle, workouts, etc that other teams are doing differently.
I've followed Garret Sparks' career for awhile. There's a good goalie there (albeit it seems pretty buried at this point). Sound fundamentals, puckhandling, mobility, size, battler, etc... for whatever reason he can't seem to put it together. Kind of reminds me of Mike Smith Version: Dallas Stars.
I imagine the issues is in between the ears. I hope he can sort that all out. Up until the aforementioned Leaf flame out, he had pretty solid numbers and progression.

Not expecting any #Flames PTO’s other than Sparks ahead of training camp this weekend. 36-skater limit is tight.
Also curious to see if Zary, Pelletier, and Wolf attend camp. Calgary at more than 36 skaters under contract, so would have to omit a few for Zary and/or Pelletier.
Owing to circumstances (not the least of which is time constraints) unless a junior kid is contending for a roster spot they'll be sent back to their respective clubs.

Toronto is instant death for a goalies career. Let’s hope we saved Sparks early enough and he can James Reimer himself a good tail end of his career.

Also I'd say Reimer is the same goalie as he was with the Leafs: a very solid backup he can play starter for minimal stretches of time. He showed the past season he still cant handle being the starting goalie for extended periods of time.

I’d agree with that. But that role doesn’t exist in Toronto for Reimer. He needed to get out before he was rode into the ground ala everybody else. Poor Pogge.

Don't forget that Toronto has somehow managed to turn Andersen into trade fodder as well, LOL.
As for Reimer, that guy deserved better than this:
