I can't think of many 3rd pairing defensemen I liked as much as Engelland. Guy was all heart and worked his ass off for every team he played for.

What a guy. Well-liked by teammates and fans. Play great for the Flames for sure. So great that he got to be an "A" for a few occasions. Surprising choice, considering his reputation.
He also got to wear the classic "A" patch for the Flames' 2015-16 official team photo.
