That is really neat. Had to shudder when I saw the popcorn kiosk drawing though. Having the concessions planted in the middle of the concourses was the worst idea ever! Think it gets congested now? Yikes!

These are absolutely amazing. I've seen other really cool preliminary design drawings and concepts from the Saddledome project too; if I can ask the right people for permission to post them here, I will.

My brother was a project manager for various construction companies and loved looking at the drawings. Said it brought back memories when he studied Civil Engineering @ SAIT back in 1979 and drafting in HS.

Wouldn't fine, straight lines look really lousy on canvas? I guess if the canvas was really fine it might work, but I'd guess that these would look better as a nice framed poster or something.
