Its time to inject our young and up and comers into the lineup.
Please stop with the GD reclamation projects, momentary feel good moments and pipe dreams lollipops and rainbows ....let's have a team with players who have something more to offer than rode hard and put away wet.
Thanks Travis for your time here.

Once again I’m shocked by these types of responses.
It has nothing to do with being sentimental. How does it help the team you ask?
- Cheap depth for when we inevitably run into injuries. Hamonic is a better option than Yelesin and Petrovic.
- Saves us from dealing a mid range pick at the deadline for a Forbort/Fantenberg type.
- Roster size is likely to be expanded this year. View signing Hamonic to a cheap 1 year as an early deadline pick up. Given the border situation depth trades will be hard to come by.
- Can solidify the PK and provide some toughness for certain games when needed.
- Not a bad guy to have mentoring some of our young defenseman.
We won’t be signing Hamonic to play significant top 4 minutes, but to add him as a bottom pairing/press box insurance policy?
It’s a shrewd move in my opinion.
