I thought the poll would be 90% Biden, so a little disappointed in CP.
I guess you might have 10% of people trolling though.

Don't worry guys, Trump will be good for Canada in the next 4 years.
He just needed 4 years to set up.

What's the point of voting for the 2 independents when no one can see how side-splittingly hilarious and cool you are?

It's more like "if you could get the radio to stop constantly playing Justin Bieber".

Which era of Bieber though? Important distinction. Baby baby? Sorry? or Yum Yum? These things matter.

Maybe I am out to lunch. But if Bidden is serious about cutting back US oil production wouldn't that be an advantage for Canadian production? ie the same logic as the NDP hurting AB oil is good for everyone but us?

Which in and of itself is a problem. There are people in this province who would be okay watching the world burn if it meant they could continue on the O&G gravy train and perpetuating the short sighted economic development policies of the last 3 decades.
I absolutely can't understand that kind of I got mine so everyone else can F off type of mentality. That type of toxic individualism destabilizes societies by creating politicians like Trump who do nothing except gaslight, encourage tribal politics and hate.

I don’t think you’re missing a thing. We would all like KXL built (though perhaps not at any cost) but a government that limits North Dakota fracking could very well mean that producers south of the border aren’t eating quite as much of our collective lunches.
Also, Trump has had 4 years to implement Canada-friendly policies. Are we just hoping the next 4 will be different? He has been no friend to the Canadian economy.

Exactly.
I definitely would not look at Trump as pro-Canada or pro-Canadian oil.
Canada should look after its own interests and quit thinking that the US will help us.

I'll preface by saying, I don't work for O&G in Calgary, so the Keystone doesn't have an effect on me other than overall general Calgary economy continuing to go down the crapper as oil continues to sink. My job is pretty secure, so I'm all for Trump getting voted out.
But I do know people who do work in the industry, and they're literally hanging on by a thread when it comes to their jobs, and being able to support their family. All the social injustices and Trump being a terrible, racist POS human are secondary concerns to them over their livelihood. To them, they'd rather have Trump still in office, because the whole "cancel Keystone" that Biden trots out freaks them out. They'd rather side with the false promise from Trump rather than the outright cancelling stance from Biden. And I think that's an understandable stance TBH.
