The 'Go Flames Go' chant they used on soundboard was the creepiest thing I've ever heard, would much rather they use AC's version.

Came in expecting some sort of cowboy high noon reference...
... leaving a little disappointed.

While my bloodlust wants Gaudreau scratched. Perhaps the answer is to put his friend in and let them have a few shifts together.

I'm down for the noon start time, but I feel it is a bit odd that we are playing game 4 in this slot while Vancouver/STL is playing game 3 in the late slot. Every other series seems to be paced normally while this one is 4 games in 5.5 days.

I don't think Tkachuk will be ready to go this afternoon but hopefully I am proven wrong.

The Flames need to come out and play strong. They haven't really played well the past 2 games but were able to stick around and also win one. They need to rise to this opportunity and go up 3-1.

2-1 Flames. Go Flames Go!

Best start time ever. If you live in Sweden. Live game AND I can drink! The missus ain’t to fond of finding me at 05:30 in the morning with a keg of beer instead of coffee.

I have a good feeling about this one! For some reason, I believe the Flames finally, finally understand that they have something to prove here: that they are a relevant playoff team. No more sneaking in (or barrelling in last year) and then out in the first round!

Hoping I;m right and that the Flames get a hold of this one with a 5-2 win!

Based on the following list of goals the flames have scores to date...I will be looking to see if the first line makes adjustments today.

Dube: Quick cross ice pass on the power play (from Lucic)
Dube: Power Move
Raz: Slap shot from the top of the circle

Dube: In tight from wild bounce
Rieder: short handed breakaway
Forbort: Seeing eye shot from the point
Benny: Slap pass tip at the top of the blue paint (PP)

Backlund: Shorty power move
Brodie: point shot with traffic

As you can see from the above...the closest to a cross seam pass goal is the first one Dube scored on the power play with an ultra fast lucic one time pass and a power play. Dallas is putting up a wall at center and very effectively moves this up and down the ice. They have done this for a long time now. Low risk, give up nothing, wait for the opponents to make a mistake hockey and try to wear them down with low risk board play.

Our first line thrives at 5v5 on speed change. Come in fast let the opponent over skate and look for the cross seam or late trailer. They have tried the same strategy for 3 games and to be honest while being highly ineffective, it keeps Dallas honest on the matchups. I will be curious to see if they continue this strategy coming up as a 5 man unit or if the three (primarily Johnny) start driving wide (at the risk of getting hit) to get behind the net and either back hand pass out front near side, forehand pass out front or wrap around..or rim the puck far side like Tkachuck loves to do. Dallas would love nothing more than to catch Johnny in a vulnerable position, so perhaps it's time Monahan and Lindholm start carrying the puck to change the look.

3-1 series lead would be awesome...but not something I can recall the Flames having...so I have a hard time believing in it.

Don’t like the start time either.

And it makes no sense for the other WC series played today as far as team rest.

Vancouver series has only played 2 games. Their game on Friday was played in the day before Calgary’s, but they get the latest start time tonight when they need (such as it is) less rest, having played one less game then the Calgary series and playing the last game earlier on Friday as well.

Vegas and Chicago played yesterday, so they should get the latest start time tonight, but they dont.

And, the Vancouver series plays again tomorrow, with the latest start time, so they should be playing earlier today to give maximum rest.

To make the most sense:
It should be Vancouver series today at 12
Calgary series at 430
Vegas series at 830.

I truly believe if they win this round, then the next couple, they’ll have a decent chance at playing in the Stanley Cup Final.

Hope JG ups his game. So we can get a decent return when traded this offseason. Apparently there was a deal at deadline for him with Philly but could get salary to work.

I really don’t think there’s anything to complain about here.

Calgary and Vancouver are young teams and Dallas and St Louis are older teams.

It’s probabky to the benefit of the younger team to play in a tighter schedule as it is easier for the younger team to recuperate.
