Just a reminder that guys being assigned to the AHL could be as simple as making them eligible for the AHL playoffs, if they aren't on the AHL roster by the deadline they are ineligible for the post season. Expect Yelesin and Davidson to also be assigned.

It's probably because it's not just a paper transaction, he has been sitting along with Rinaldo, with limited recalls after the deadline he's probably going to stay down until we need an emergency recall.
