Yeah kinda weird he keeps going back to the lines that have us down after first period before switching it up.
Oh well, look forward to the switch up in the second and for the comeback to start!

I have company in town so I upgraded my second deck tickets to second row behind the Wild bench. I find the Wild an annoying team, so I wouldn't mind annoying them a little.
Anyone sit there before? I can really rip on the plastic horn, would security allow me to blow that at Boudreau all night? I think the glass is to high for me to get the horn right in there, but maybe through the spaces between? Would I just be annoying the fans around us?
Who knows, if he can't communicate on the bench effectively because there is a horn blaring two feet from his head, maybe it helps the Flames in a small way.

I think you'd get kicked out for that! Not recommended...
Wear bright colors, make a sign, chirp the players and coaches, try to throw them off.

The Wild have fallen into the trap that the Brent Sutter era Flames did. They are spending lot's of money, and think that they can still be a playoff team. But they are also banking on many of the players going against some pretty strong demographic trends to keep up their current play. So rather than commit to tearing it down and try to build something better...they seem hell bent on perpetuating their mediocrity. So yeah keep it up...it works out so well.

Enjoy the stink and not being able to see around the coaches...
It's a cool experience for people that are more interested in the spectacle of the event, but if you're actually interested in the game, it's a little disappointing.

Yup! We caught a game there once and it was neat... but I barely knew what was happening half the game
No clue how people sit there regularly

This team seems to play like crap whenever the organization is honouring or doing something special for a past great.
They played like crap for Iginla jersey raising night. Thy played like crap for Iggy bobble head night. They lost on the once in a lifetime chance that Kipper actually came to a game and allowed the fans to salute him, against a hated rival no less.
This team seems to lack the intestinal fortitude to rise up on big or special occasions.
I wish they would retire number 14 and have Theo go in to the dressing room and rip into them telling them they better not lose on his night.

Ritter should only play Saturday night if Talbot sucks tonight, that is the only way. If he wins again and is playing well, he should start against his old team.
Flames win again, 5-2 with a convincing win.
GFG.

That sounds like a notion that people confirm by selective memory, though I do admit the Flames also lost to the Blues on Al's forever a flame night and also on Vernon's jersey retirement night. And they beat Minnie when Dubnyk was honored last game (for 500 games).
I do see they won on Newy night, and on Lanny night (of course they were still a really good team in the latter).
But anyway, a bobblehead night isn't that big a deal - I don't think there's any ceremony or anything.

I don't think the coaches want Rittich sitting for very long. If he doesn't play on Saturday his next start would be Monday in Montreal—leaving him more than a week without a start.

I guess we will have to see what happens tonight, but if Talbot plays really well it will be hard to sit if him on Saturday night. I agree, we don't want to mess with Rittich's head but he also just became the starter officially this season, they brought in a veteran backup to play games if he starts to get overworked or decline in play and I think he has. Likely because of a lot of starts and the team not playing overly well either, not all his fault. The last thing we need is a 1A 1B problem with both goalies not feeling it.

Iggi bobble head night was not special for the players at all. Door staff handed out boxed bobble heads to people as they arrived. There wasn't some sort of on ice bobble head ceremony before the game started haha.
And the night Kipper was at the Dome (and we lost) was that same Iggi bobble head night.
I'm all for being negative and ripping on this team but blaming bobble head night? Come on, hah!

This. Great that Talbot is playing well but if we can get Ritter going too that is important. Tandem them down the stretch.

No, but what we do need is a 1A, 1B situation with both goalies feeling it.
