all this trade gaudreau talk is out there in local media because the smoke is visible from Fort Mac.

It's obviously a raging inferno behind the scenes.

Or maybe the media is just trying to generate clicks like they always do?

I think Flash is overstating things, but I think Ashasx is understating things.

It's entirely possible that there are some issues around Gaudreau right now, but I'm not entirely sure that it's related to being unhappy with the team. Hard to determine what's going on with him, but he is simply not himself right now.

Something is definitely up with Gaudreau, but I have no idea what it is.

The athleticism. The skating. The hands. The fact that he’ll likely be playing at six-four, 215. I’ve said it to our scouts all week long – he’s Joe Nieuwendyk.”
As said the Flames assistant GM at the time of the draft.

Instead he's been chewed up and is on the verge of being spat out by the crocodiles.

Yes. But that's not the point.

The point is how dire Jankowski's NHL future is looking.

^^^^ my point is exactly that. His performance is not unexceptional or noteworthy as a Flames 1st rounder. And its better than a lot of them.

The local guy typically kiss the team's ass, so they wouldn't put out "negative" stuff about the local heroes, unless it was Politburo approved...

I don't think he works for the organisation any more.

I don't get that sense from Pinder and Steinberg at all.

Tell me how hard Loubardias defends Gaudreau when he gets his say on the radio. Because if it isnt full tilt screaming there's definitely issues behind the flaming curtain.

Hes my divining rod when it comes to troubled waters with the Flames, hes either all in or really wish washy.

They are just commenting after the fact. Haynes ran it up the flag pole first, right? Somebody probably told him to measure the temperature.

Haynes has his thumb on the pulse of CP. I suspect the conversation started here.

4. I don’t get the sense Bill Peters is in jeopardy. Calgary made a coaching change when this group petered out on Glen Gulutzan. The organization doesn’t want that to happen again.

AHAHAHAH There's no way the pun was unintended.
