I won't be surprised to see Dube sent down to start the season, and possibly Kylington as well. Waiver eligibility complicates things. Similar to Andersson & Mangipane last year. And I fully expect the pitchforks to be out when this happens.

Gillies, MacDonald, Davidson, Smith-Pelley, Quine and Rinaldo would be my guesses.

Unless someone (Jankowski, Frolik, Czarnik) gets moved.

Maybe there's a team that wants to try Gillies in the NHL?

There's no one really juicy on waivers, so it would really just be about swapping contracts.

I don't think it's likely. Just throwing it out there.

Yup, I think one of the PTOs sticks around to start the year until Tkachuk is signed, and then is sent down/put on waivers once he's signed. I also think it will come down to Rinaldo or Rieder.

Toby is a good 4th line player with limited (or no) offensive upside. Rinaldo is the same, but a little less effective as a 5 on 5 player. However, he brings incredible amounts of dickishness that the team may crave to have in Tkachuk's absence.

All I'm saying is, prepare thyself to have Rinaldo on the team to start the year.

Maybe a piece in a bigger deal.
