See ya later. You should come back though. We could use the optimism.

Well the only person who has really threatened to leave and then actually followed through was FrostyMug/Top10. Hell, even Reggie came back early after his self 1 year ban.

MODS can I have the moniker "Calgary Flames" now?

I believe with some practice I can be as big a dink as Jordan was. I also think that I am important enough to carry the weight of the entire team on my shoulders.

And I saw Jordan Leopold at superstore the other day.... It's fate I tell you.... FATE!!!!!

Can the Mods ban Jordan as well to make sure he doesn't "Cheat" on his ban?

I have lurked for a long time and from what I can judge from most of his input, the poor kid probably got alot of self worth from his frantic 7.7 post per day pace.

Seemed like a kid that just wanted to fit in, be accepted, probably made his day to just stay up late with the big kids.

I would always laugh at his one or two word posts, as if he made his presence and opinion known, then that meant that the thread was officially validated....

He will be back, he clearly isn't finished with his 5 min. of fame here yet...

I want to do with on a win. I'm going to change my password and email so that I can never post anymore. A self ban per say. So in closing...

That doesn't make any sense. Couldn't you just write down or remember whatever you change it to? I don't see what that accomplishes.

All this drama wasn't really necessary. But I guess that was your style, so I'm not too surprised. Whatever.

I can't even handle leaving CP without going through withdrawals, how can this guy do it?

So what happened that caused Jordan to quit? Was it an arguement with MMM?

HUH? A going away thread?
Well being a poster on many boards, I've seen my share of these.
Success Percentage......about 1.2%.
My numbers don't lie, I'm a Math Major...

Well you were a decent poster in my eyes, little bit whiney, but who isn't. I avoid posting alot in the Flames forum because I JUST KNOW arguments will arise.
Hope your self imposed ban from the crack that is CP isn't permanent. (My numbers say it isn't).

I've seen a lot of 'good-bye' threads on other message boards as well, but didn't think I'd see one here.
I guess CP just isn't what it used to be.

The good news for Jordan is that no one is taking his goodbye seriously so when he comes back no one will blink an eye.

I would like to take this opportunity to hijack this thread and make my own startling announcement:

I have decided to retire my moniker. "Joe Nieuwendyk" has been a wonderful name for me but I now have to admit that I am not, in fact, Joe Nieuwendyk. My name's not even Joe...it's pathetic really. So I have now decided to go by the name "Calgary Flames Jordon LydmanFan".

Because this name is so long I will continue to spell it "Joe Nieuwendyk" but as of this moment, I would like you all to pronounce it "Calgary Flames Jordon LeopoldFan"

Thank you for your cooperation.
