			Meh, points smoints....
The only reason the sharks were even this close to top spot in the west & Pacific was the amazing runs they had, predominantly while Karlsson wasn't even playing.

Like this current 1 in 9 run?

Him in the lineup makes them much more dangerous.

If we finished first, can we not have our pick of the litter as to who to play?
 Sharks please!

Just going by what a few Shark fans at work have said, that he hasn't played all that well. Especially if he's injured. But, "not so much a factor" is hardly "non-factor".

May this be the most gruelling and physical series in the history of the NHL. Seven games and triple overtime in every game.

I really hope Vegas wins. I have to admit I loved the Vegas pregame theatrics last year. I would enjoy seeing more of that this year and it would be fun for the Flames to face off against them.

Between Karlsson and Nyquist it's pretty crazy to see what the Sharks have given up this year if they get bounced in the first. I would not be surprised to see this team join their California brethren in the next couple of years.

I am hoping for Vegas, if just for the selfish reason that I would love to potentially go to Vegas to attend a game if we play in the second round. Would probably be an amazing experience with that atmosphere.

It’s going to be Vegas. Knights have goaltending, Sharks don’t.

I hope it is a 7 game series that is taxing for both teams, but the way the teams have played coming in, I'm predicting a 5 game series win by Vegas.

I hope it's the Sharks that win this series, but after getting the crap kicked out of them for 7 games. That sounds like a walk in the park second round match up for the Flames.
With that said, Vegas doesn't scare me much either.

Sharks in 7. Their recent slump has a lot to do with injuries.

Vegas in 7. This will be the premiere 1st round matchup for these playoffs. Broadcasters will stay up late to watch this one. A real knock-down, drag-out affair. Could go either way, but I think Vegas has a slight edge.

Vegas in 4. We get to see tears, key players leave as ufa's in the off season, so.eone demands a trade and Karlsson says he hates the organization. This is the beginning of the end for the sharts
