About 630 or so tonight i was in the car and 960 was playing an interview with Jim Hughson.
The object of one question was how do a TB or TOR team fair against the Bruins in a 7 game series.
He went on to say, "Toronto and Tampa are the same team...4 good offensive lines and great defenses and goaltending, it would be a close 7 game series". (paraphrased and not exact)
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The media in that town are all in on a Leaf club that while very good, are NOT close to being in TB's realm. TB is on a near record pace for pts in a season. At a time when there is more parity in the league than ever.
The Leafs are 21 pts back of the Bolts. Just absurd.
I am not a Jim Hughson fan, and never really have been in any aspect of his CBC/SN career and that's why. He is an unmitigated homer when it comes to certain teams...especially ones he will be covering in a playoff series.

Would like to hear what his excuses are for the walloping tonight.
I'd give Toronto a 40-60 chance in a series vs the Bruins and 20-80 against the Bolts. They're sure hard pressed to get out of their own division for such a juggernaut.
