That game just kinda had that stink to it.
Absolutely no one in white could pass the puck tonight.

Forget it and move on.

No reason to panic. But I’m sure there will be plenty.
I think the top line completely disappearing for the last month is plenty concerning. I sure hope they can return to somewhat of what they were earlier in the year... because were not going to win a playoff series without them.

In the last 3 games, have the Flames been outworked or out chanced? I’d say not even close. Leafs game could’ve been 4-4 in the first.

Not concerned. They do have to get the scoring touch back, and build the confidence up, and thst begins and ends with Lindholm, and I don’t like him on the second line. He needs proper feeds that Backlund or Ryan can’t provide because they don’t creat the space JG does.

It’s official, we’re in a slump. No one was good this game outside BSD and Hamonic. Just poor execution all night and the top line is arctic cold, specifically Monahan. Less than a month until the playoffs start, gotta battle through this before then.

I disagree, but missing out on Zucker is painful at the moment.

Flames need to have their top 5 F to play with a lot more skill and production.

That was the difference in the game tonight. Nothing more and nothing less.

Blaming the referees is a sorry excuse.

The refs are definitely bad, but the team isn't tough enough for playoff hockey yet. They have 15 games to figure it out or it will be a short playoff run.

A whole lot of skating for a whole lot of nothing. They seem to skate hard and battle hard but not smart. Where are the clean breakouts? What about the dominant control from the top line in the offensive zone?

Pretty frustrating game to watch. I am of the mind that if this ridiculous non-goal and the one called back against Minny a couple games ago were allowed to correctly (IMO) stand, we'd be looking at a 2-1 record over the last 3 and not 0-3.

Well, move on to Arizona, at least if we lose, we screw the Oilers.

Default Still allergic to scoring. Flames lose 2-1

Rittich, Tkachuk, Giordano all played well.

Everyone else was somewhere between weak and terrible.

No speed. No driving the net. Couldn’t put together two passes, and lost just about every battle possible.

Our centres need to do more to help their wingers. Sean Monahan is an absolute passenger right now, Backlund is offensive zone poison and is awful on the PP, and Jankowski’s PK magic has vanished leaving him as a pretty irrelevant depth player.

Bennett and Hathaway should have been following Tkachuk’s lead. How were they not more physically engaged?

Frolik is bad.

Don’t see how Lazar doesn’t get into the lineup next game.

It was an exciting game to watch other than the incident. It had a playoff feel and could have gone either way. Screw the refs and screw Fluery the Knights don’t scare me.

zucker definitely would have helped... shame that didn't go through.

Rittich looked great i thought... though if that flop he did went in, maybe i'd think differently.

Tkachuk looked engaged for the first time in long time...too many blind drop passes though.

Gio looked good as usual...

outside of that, it was pretty even... horrible officiating did not help the flames however...

Bennett came done with the Vegas flu...
